Access personalized requisition from your email

You will receive your personalized requisition in the confirmation email after paying for the test online.
This requisition will be personalized to your order.
3

Have requisition signed by your healthcare provider

Print and bring the requisition form you received in the order email to your healthcare provider for signature. Requisitions not signed by a healthcare provider cannot be processed and labs will be unable to collect the required sample(s).
4

Provide a sample

Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing requires a blood sample that can easily be collected.
If you are a resident of Ontario, Saskatchewan or British Columbia: You can visit any LifeLabs Patient Service Centre to have your blood sample collected. You must bring the same order confirmation requisition that you had signed by your healthcare provider. Our staff cannot collect a blood sample without the correct requisition signed by a healthcare provider. For your convenience and to reduce wait times we recommend booking an appointment.
If you are a resident in the rest of Canada: Please contact Ask.Genetics@LifeLabs.com to arrange for collection.
5

Get your results

Your test results will be sent directly to your ordering healthcare provider within 7 – 10 days of being received in the laboratory for their review and follow-up discussion with you.

We recommend that you schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider two weeks after your blood sample is collected to review the results.

*NEW* You can access Panorama™ reports through LifeLabs’ online portal 5 calendar days after the report is released to the ordering health care provider.
