Temporary pandemic MOH coverage of NIPT for twin pregnancies now permanent as of December 17, 2021

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR PATIENTS AND CLINICS IN ONTARIO ONLY

On December 17, 2021, BORN announced NIPT for twin pregnancies, regardless of maternal age, gestational age or other factors, is now funded by the Ministry of Health. The new guidelines improve access to prenatal screening and are applicable to LifeLabs’ Panorama™ NIPT service.
